Farewell to our founder

We have some bittersweet news to share with our Regional Sounds family. This week, Regional Sounds founder Alexia Parenzee will be hanging up her Regional Sounds hat.

After three passion-filled years establishing and charting the way in the early stages of the organisation, Alexia is now ready to step back and focus on other areas of life, and hopes to see the organisation grow in a new direction.

While involved in the organisation Alexia was largely involved in creating amazing community collaborations, partnerships and opportunities for artists to perform their original work, develop their craft and grow. She remains passionate in these areas, and will continue to work in this space outside of Regional Sounds, as well as exploring new opportunities in the music and support work space.

We are so thankful to Alexia for her big vision, so much time given, passion by the bucket load and massive commitment bringing Regional Sounds to life, and wish her all the very best with her future creative projects.

We will miss you, Alexia! We are so thankful! And we are excited to see all the fabulous things that are coming next for you!
