Heartfelt thanks to founding artist

Regional Sounds would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to outgoing Operations Manager Sarah O'Malley for her outstanding contributions to Regional Sounds Inc. As a founding member, Sarah has been instrumental in establishing the organisation and activating our venue, and her dedication has greatly shaped our success. Her role, akin to an artist in residence, saw her delivering songwriting and professional music development programs for the past three years which has been invaluable in building the music scene and community, assuring that investment into the arts has been leveraged to foster local talent and create paid opportunities for musicians. 

Sarah's influence is evident in the diverse range of events she has helped create at Regional Sounds, from large Tree Set concerts to intimate gigs in the performance lounge. Her talent as a musician, with her distinctive blend of folk and blues, has enriched our community. Notably, she has opened for The Waifs in Geraldton and has recently been awarded a grant to record and produce an EP with her band, Xhalisse. We eagerly await the announcement of the EP's launch date. 

Sarah, your dedication and expertise have made a significant impact, and we deeply appreciate your ongoing support and commitment. Thank you for everything you’ve contributed to Regional Sounds Inc. We look forward to celebrating your future achievements.
